Blacklists

Restrict event participation or host work and review active restrictions.

Access

Leadership; actions are constrained by staffing hierarchy. A server override made with /config access lvl takes precedence over the default.

Required setup

The server is activated, the feature is enabled, required roles and channels are configured, and the bot has View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Read Message History. Role actions also need Manage Roles; voice actions need Connect and Speak.

/blacklist add

Purpose

Add a member to a blacklist.

Syntax

/blacklist add <member> <type> <reason> [evidence]

Parameters

Parameter Type yes Limits Description
member user yes Target member
type string yes events, hosts Restriction type
reason string yes max 1000 Reason for the action
evidence string no max 1800 Evidence links

Who can run it

Leadership; actions are constrained by staffing hierarchy.

Server override

An administrator can inspect or change the level with /config access lvl. Level 0 is administrator-only; levels 1–5 map to the host profile. Use /qa diagnose for a concrete member.

Required setup

The server is activated, the feature is enabled, required roles and channels are configured, and the bot has View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Read Message History. Role actions also need Manage Roles; voice actions need Connect and Speak.

Procedure

  1. Open an appropriate channel and enter the slash command.
  2. Fill every required parameter; leave an optional one empty to use the server default where supported.
  3. Review the confirmation before changing roles, balances, or an active event.
  4. After the response, verify the created message, profile, or panel record.

Expected result

On success, Discord shows a confirmation and an object ID when later cancellation or continuation needs it. Resolve an error before retrying.

Buttons and forms

When a command creates a panel, use buttons and forms only from its latest message. If a button no longer works, refresh the message or reopen the panel.

State changes

The action may synchronize Discord roles, the host profile, staffing history, CE, and audit records.

Common errors

  • Access denied. Verify level, direction, and the server override with /qa diagnose.
  • Server is not activated. Complete activation in the panel's Server section.
  • Feature is disabled. Enable the relevant feature toggle and save settings.
  • Channel or role is missing. Configure the required panel field and retry.
  • Bot permission is missing. Move the bot role above managed roles and grant the missing Discord permission.
