Unified quiz menu¶
A public leaderboard and permission-aware interactive menu for 31 games, quick rounds or series, active sessions, and settings.
Access
Host with Text direction access. A server override made with /config access lvl takes precedence over the default.
Required setup¶
The server is activated, the feature is enabled, required roles and channels are configured, and the bot has View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Read Message History. Role actions also need Manage Roles; voice actions need Connect and Speak.
/quiz¶
Purpose¶
Open the unified interactive menu for games, active sessions, statistics, daily quiz controls, logs, and media.

Who can run it¶
Host with Text direction access.
Server override¶
An administrator can inspect or change the level with /config access lvl. Level 0 is administrator-only; levels 1–5 map to the host profile. Use /qa diagnose for a concrete member.
Required setup¶
The server is activated, the feature is enabled, required roles and channels are configured, and the bot has View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Read Message History. Role actions also need Manage Roles; voice actions need Connect and Speak.
Procedure¶
- Open an appropriate channel and enter the slash command.
- Fill every required parameter; leave an optional one empty to use the server default where supported.
- Review the confirmation before changing roles, balances, or an active event.
- After the response, verify the created message, profile, or panel record.
Expected result¶
On success, Discord shows a confirmation and an object ID when later cancellation or continuation needs it. Resolve an error before retrying.
Buttons and forms¶
When a command creates a panel, use buttons and forms only from its latest message. If a button no longer works, refresh the message or reopen the panel.
State changes¶
The bot publishes or updates event messages, control panels, winner roles, statistics, and audit records.
Common errors¶
- Access denied. Verify level, direction, and the server override with
/qa diagnose. - Server is not activated. Complete activation in the panel's Server section.
- Feature is disabled. Enable the relevant feature toggle and save settings.
- Channel or role is missing. Configure the required panel field and retry.
- Bot permission is missing. Move the bot role above managed roles and grant the missing Discord permission.
Menu structure¶
/quiz opens a private ephemeral menu. Every member can open the Quiz leaderboard. Hosts additionally see Run game with one 31-game catalog split into pages of 16 and 15, plus Active games with every server session and the daily round.
Starting a game¶
Choose a text channel, Quick round or First to N points, 2–20 points for a series, and a 10–180 second timer. A quick round always uses one point. The menu shows a final confirmation, then checks current free/VIP limits before publishing.
Access and administration¶
Every server member can open the menu and leaderboard. A creator can stop their own manual game; leadership can stop any manual game. Only administrators and Developers control the daily round. The support role can award points, while leadership can configure logs and media.
Unified catalog and media¶
Flags use the visual Guess the flag game, math uses generated cards, and anagrams/encryption share Build the word. Daily legacy categories remain unchanged. Car brand and Footballer media accept JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF files up to 8 MiB through Discord File Upload; deletion requires confirmation.
